Joaquín Barón (1980, Spain) is Spanish multidisciplinary artist who lives and works between New York and Madrid. Barón is most renowned for his paintings on large scale canvases using a contemporary variation of the fresco technique and street art. Beyond her monumental paintings, his work also includes: drawings on paper, sculptures, photography, scenography, installations, and videos. He has also expanded to theater producer, writer and scenographer theater as the name Casa de Pájaros. Joaquín Barón is recognized as one of the most valued Spanish young artist and his works have been exhibited in numerous museums around Europe. His work is included in the permanent collections of numerous museums around the world.

Joaquín grew up as a street child in Ciudad Real, Spain until he was adopted at the age of ten at the city of Madrid. During this time, he was introduced to the Spanish masters at the Reina Sofia Museum, after which he immediately devoted his passion to art. He moved at the age of seventeen to Dayton, Ohio, , where he studied at the Coronel White Hight Dayton Public School and to the Ohio State University and later on, in Complutense Beauty Art University in Madrid, Spain.
